ENVIRONMENTAL and sustainability GOVERNENCE
We have over 40 years experience dealing with clients in your specific industry sector, this gives us a unique understanding of what is required of you during the purchase process and therefore what we have to fulfil to meet those requirements. Our accreditations that allow us to supply to various sectors are listed below.

Our Commitment to Sustainability and the Environment
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to operate as a Carbon Neutral Certified company, dedicated to reducing our environmental impact and providing eco-friendly solutions to our clients across both the Public Sector and Commercial sectors.
Our focus on sustainability permeates all areas of our operations, from product design and sourcing to end-of-life disposal, ensuring that every step we take contributes to a greener, more sustainable future.
ISO 14001 Certified for Environmental Management
As an ISO 14001-certified business, we have developed a comprehensive Environmental Management System (EMS) that ensures compliance with environmental regulations and drives continuous improvement in our environmental performance.
This commitment is deeply embedded in our daily operations and forms the foundation of our strategy to reduce energy consumption, minimise waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
Our sustainability approach is not just about meeting regulatory requirements, it’s about setting the standard for excellence in environmental responsibility.

Circular Economy Principles
We embrace the principles of a Circular Economy, focusing on reducing, reusing, repairing, remanufacturing, and closed-loop recycling. Our products are designed with modular components that allow for easy repair, reducing waste and extending the lifecycle of each item.
By prioritising low-carbon design and energy-efficient materials, such as LiFePO4 batteries, we reduce embodied carbon while ensuring product durability and performance.
Our end-of-life services include responsible recycling of tools and batteries through accredited WEEE-certified partners.
We recover valuable materials like Lithium, Iron, and Phosphorus from batteries using hydrometallurgical techniques, reducing the need for virgin material extraction and supporting resource conservation.
Plastic components are reprocessed into new casings, further contributing to our goal of reducing landfill waste.
Sustainable Sourcing and Ethical Practices
We prioritise responsible sourcing and ethical business practices across our supply chain. We select materials that are recyclable, biodegradable, or sustainably sourced, and we work exclusively with suppliers who adhere to our rigorous Supplier Code of Conduct.
This ensures that every partner meets high standards for environmental responsibility, human rights, and fair labour practices. We also focus on reducing Scope 3 emissions by prioritising UK-based suppliers and low-carbon logistics solutions.

Energy Efficiency and Carbon Footprint Reduction
Our commitment to reducing energy consumption is reflected in the products we offer and in our internal operations. We have set an ambitious target to reduce energy consumption by 10% over the next three years, focusing on optimising building systems, fleet emissions, and operational efficiency. Over 66% of our fleet is already electric, and we continue to expand our electric vehicle fleet to further reduce transport emissions.
Our energy-saving initiatives include advanced building systems such as heat recovery, LED lighting, and solar-powered products, all designed to reduce our carbon footprint and decrease our reliance on traditional power sources.
Commitment to Transparency and Accountability
We are dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards and ensuring full transparency in our operations.
We integrate social and environmental considerations into our decision-making processes, and we regularly engage with stakeholders to review and enhance our sustainability practices.
Our audits, supplier assessments, and compliance with international standards like ISO 14001 and the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 demonstrate our commitment to ethical sourcing, fair labour practices, and environmental responsibility.
